Treatment Approach

Our World Class Orthodontists are skilled professionals who specialize in correcting dental and facial irregularities to improve both oral health and aesthetics. While our primary focus is often on aligning teeth, we can also address various facial features and proportions through orthodontic treatment. Here's an explanation of some esthetic changes that can be achieved by our World Class Orthodontists.

Lower Facial Height

Orthodontic treatment can influence the vertical dimension of the face, including the height of the lower face. By properly aligning the teeth and jaws, orthodontists can help create a balanced facial profile with harmonious proportions between the upper, middle, and lower thirds of the face. This can result in a more pleasing appearance and improved facial aesthetics.

Chin Prominence

Orthodontic treatment can also address issues related to chin prominence or retrusion, where the chin appears too prominent or receded in relation to the rest of the face. By properly aligning the teeth and jaws, orthodontists can help create a more balanced and harmonious facial profile, which may involve repositioning the lower jaw to achieve optimal chin projection and facial aesthetics.

Veritical Maxilliary Excess

Vertical Maxillary Excess

Vertical maxillary excess refers to an excessive vertical dimension of the upper jaw, leading to a gummy smile or an unbalanced facial profile. Orthodontic treatment, such as braces or Invisalign, combined with orthognathic surgery if necessary, can help correct this issue by repositioning the upper jaw to achieve a more proportionate relationship with the lower jaw and lips. This can improve the overall esthetics of the smile and facial profile.

Lower Jaw Length:

Orthodontic treatment can influence the length of the lower jaw, which plays a significant role in facial harmony and symmetry. By correcting malocclusions and skeletal discrepancies, orthodontists can help optimize the length of the lower jaw to achieve a balanced facial profile and improve overall esthetics.

Naso Labial Angle:

The nasolabial angle refers to the angle formed by the junction of the nose and upper lip. Orthodontic treatment can indirectly influence this angle by addressing issues such as dental protrusion or retrusion, which can impact the position and appearance of the upper lip. By properly aligning the teeth and jaws, orthodontists can help create a more favorable nasolabial angle, resulting in a more attractive smile and facial aesthetics.

Overall, orthodontic treatment goes beyond just straightening teeth; it encompasses a comprehensive approach to improving facial aesthetics and harmony. By addressing various dental and skeletal issues, orthodontists can help patients achieve not only a healthy and functional smile but also a more attractive facial appearance and enhanced self-confidence.
